Wellmann Insurance Agency, Inc. was established in 2000 through a merger of Lange & Associates Insurance Agency and Ehlert Insurance Agency in Brenham, Texas. Offering exceptional insurance services to our hometown of Brenham, has allowed us to open offices in Bryan College Station, Sugar Land, Giddings and Port O'Connor Texas. DAVID WELLMANN - PRESIDENT & CEO

David began his insurance career in 1986 after graduating from Brenham High School, Blinn Junior College, and Sam Houston State University. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1992. That same year he became partner in Lange & Associates Insurance, which eventually evolved into Wellmann Insurance Agency, Inc. A native of Brenham, David and his wife Kim (Warmke) have two sons, Matthew and Blake. David is involved in numerous community organizations, including Washington County Fair, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and the International Brangus Breeder Association. David has been involved in many other community and charitable organizations in, and throughout Brenham and Washington County. His hobbies include ranching, hunting, and fishing. David and his family are active members of Friedens United Church of Christ.
